CDA Launches New Online Complaint System — Residents Get Faster Access

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has introduced a new online system that lets Islamabad residents report civic problems directly through social media.

People can now tag @cdathecapital or the chairman’s account @RandhawaAli to submit complaints.
According to officials, the system aims to make responses faster, transparent, and easier to track.

CDA says complaints will be handled immediately, with field teams directed to reach residents at their doorstep.

The new feature is designed to create a direct communication link between citizens and the authority and reduce delays seen in older complaint channels.

However, some civil society members noted that many citizens do not use social media, which may limit accessibility. Others questioned whether the system will receive consistent monitoring.

CDA says the goal is to improve accountability by making the process more visible and to ensure better service delivery across Islamabad.
