Sindh Introduces New Govt Job Policy

The Sindh government has announced a new recruitment policy that awards five additional marks to candidates applying for government jobs from Grade 5 to Grade 15.

According to officials, the extra points will be given to candidates who have at least 50% marks in their academic qualifications. The move is designed to give more weight to educational performance during the selection process.

Candidates with Intermediate qualifications will also receive five additional marks during their test evaluation.
Applicants appearing under IBA Sukkur testing will similarly receive five bonus points as part of the updated assessment criteria.

The new policy applies to all provincial government departments, as confirmed in a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department and signed by Section Officer Faizan Qazi.

Officials say the decision aims to promote merit-based recruitment and standardize the evaluation process across Sindh.
