Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Wednesday, following strong gains in international markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 2,300, reaching Rs. 438,862.
Prices for 10 grams also rose to Rs. 376,253 after a jump of Rs. 1,972.
This rise comes just a day after gold surged by Rs. 7,700 per tola, marking one of the steepest daily increases in recent weeks.
Globally, gold climbed by $23, touching $4,165 per ounce (including a $20 premium), supported by renewed investor interest and favourable market signals.
Silver prices also moved upward, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs. 60 to reach Rs. 5,482.
