The ICC has officially released the full schedule for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, confirming the date of the biggest match in world cricket — Pakistan vs India on 15 February 2026 in Colombo.

The tournament will run from 7 February to 8 March 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. A total of 20 teams will compete, divided into four groups of five. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Eight stage.

Pakistan has been placed in Group A alongside India, Netherlands, Namibia and the USA. The Green Shirts will start their campaign against the Netherlands on 7 February in Colombo.

India vs Pakistan on 15 February is expected to be the most-watched match of the event, with massive global hype already building.

After the group stage, the Super Eight matches, semi-finals, and the final will take place across major venues in India and Sri Lanka. The final is scheduled for 8 March, either in Colombo or Ahmedabad, depending on Pakistan’s qualification.

This World Cup marks the first time the tournament will feature 20 teams, adding more matches, more upsets, and more excitement for cricket fans worldwide.
