Gold prices continued their upward trend in Pakistan on Monday, tracking gains from the international market.
In the local market, gold price per tola increased to Rs. 446,862 after a rise of Rs. 2,700.
The price of 10 grams also went up, reaching Rs. 383,112—an increase of Rs. 2,315, according to APGJSA.
On Saturday, gold had already surged by Rs. 5,300 per tola, touching Rs. 444,162.
🌍 International Market Update
Internationally, gold climbed by $27 to reach $4,245 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver also saw a jump in Pakistan, rising Rs. 54 to Rs. 5,963 per tola.
Global markets remained steady after touching a six-week high, as investors looked ahead to a possible US interest rate cut later this month.
Spot gold slipped slightly by 0.1% to $4,225.91, while US gold futures rose to $4,260.20.
Silver hit a fresh all-time high of $57.86 earlier before settling at $56.78.
