The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued an important update for citizens who want to renew their CNICs online using the Pak ID mobile app.
In its latest message, NADRA advised users to submit their renewal application instantly through the official app and receive their updated CNIC directly at home, without visiting any center.
Warning About Fake Websites
NADRA also reminded citizens about a fake website — idcardtracking.online — which was recently found impersonating the authority.
The agency confirmed that the website is fraudulent and has no link to NADRA.
Citizens, especially overseas Pakistanis, have been strictly warned not to use agents, third parties, or unofficial websites for CNIC-related services.
NADRA has already filed a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency to investigate the fake website and take action against those deceiving expatriates.
According to the spokesperson, a website calling itself “NADRA Card Centre” is also involved in misleading Pakistanis abroad — particularly those living in the United Kingdom.
NADRA has stressed that all identity services must be accessed only through the official Pak-ID mobile app or NADRA’s legitimate platforms to avoid fraud.
