Pakistan Names 15-Player Squad for ICC U19 World Cup 2026

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled its 15-player squad for the upcoming U19 tri-series in Zimbabwe and the ICC U19 World Cup 2026. Farhan Yousaf will lead the team as captain, with Usman Khan as vice-captain.

Tri-Series Details

  • Dates: 25 December 2025 – 6 January 2026

  • Teams: Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe (host)

  • Format: 50-over matches

  • Pakistan U19 will play at least four matches in the tri-series, with the top two sides advancing to the final on 6 January 2026.

ICC U19 World Cup Details

  • Dates: 15 January – 6 February 2026

  • Locations: Namibia and Zimbabwe

  • This tournament will serve as the main platform for young talent to showcase their skills before advancing to senior cricket levels.

Squad Notes

  • One change from the ACC U19 Asia Cup squad: Umar Zaib replaces Mohammad Huzaifa.

  • Pakistan U19 is currently in action at the Asia Cup in Dubai, facing Bangladesh in the semi-final on 19 December.

  • The final of the Asia Cup is scheduled for 21 December in Dubai.
