Petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to come down from December 1, 2025, following a sharp decline in international oil rates.
According to energy-sector sources, petrol may become cheaper by Rs. 3.75 per litre, while high-speed diesel could see a bigger cut of Rs. 6.10 per litre.
Kerosene is expected to drop by Rs. 0.73, and light diesel oil may see a reduction of Rs. 6.35 per litre.
Oil companies have already completed their calculations and submitted the revised estimates to OGRA. The regulator is preparing its final summary, which will be forwarded to the Ministry of Finance tomorrow.
The Ministry will announce the official petroleum prices for the next 15 days on November 30, after consultation with the Prime Minister. The new rates will take effect from December 1.
