Rana Mashhood emphasized that the federal government is dedicated to equipping the youth of Balochistan with modern technical skills and digital literacy, ensuring they are ready for future job markets.

At the event, Rana Mashhood underscored Pakistan’s growing progress in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and digital entrepreneurship. He stated that Pakistan is among the few countries with a national Artificial Intelligence policy, enabling young people to prepare for global opportunities in emerging tech industries.

The government’s latest initiative also aims to transform Pakistani youth from job seekers into job creators, promoting innovation-driven startups and digital employment.

Rana Mashhood also mentioned that the agriculture sector remains a government priority. Through PMYP initiatives, young entrepreneurs in Balochistan have already received startup loans to launch agricultural and tech-based businesses.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to regional inclusion and economic empowerment through sustained youth-oriented programs.

🌍 Expanding Global Employment Opportunities

Under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s direction, the NewTech funds have been increased to strengthen youth employment opportunities abroad — particularly in the Middle East, Europe, Korea, Canada, and the United States.

The government aims to double foreign exchange earnings over the next three years by helping skilled Pakistani youth secure global job placements.
