The Punjab Board has released a revised schedule for Intermediate Part One admissions, setting fresh deadlines for students and parents across the province.
According to the notification issued on December 5, admissions can be submitted with a single fee from December 1 to December 12. Applications submitted between December 13 and December 22 will require a late fee.
⏰ Short window left
Teachers say that although the schedule spans 12 days, five days have already passed, leaving students very little time to complete their paperwork. After excluding bank holidays, only four working days remain to submit applications within the single-fee deadline.
💸 Parents raise concerns
Parents have criticized the late fee policy, noting that double and triple charges are becoming increasingly difficult to manage amid inflation. Many have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to review the admission fee policy and provide relief.
Teachers and students are now rushing to meet deadlines, urging authorities to extend the schedule or simplify bank submission requirements to ease pressure on applicants during the admission window.
