Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched the second phase of the Lahore Development Plan, marking a major push to upgrade thousands of streets across the city.

According to the CM Office, a total of 6,284 streets will be improved under this phase.

486 streets will be upgraded by the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA)

5,798 streets will be handled by the Lahore Municipal Corporation
All work is targeted for completion by June next year.
During a review meeting, officials presented a month-by-month progress plan to ensure timely work in every neighborhood.
Maryam Nawaz instructed all departments to maintain strict quality standards and avoid any delays, saying the goal is to improve cleanliness, safety, and liveability across Lahore.
She added that residents will see visible improvements in every part of the city as the project advances.
