Web Desk: The Punjab Environment Protection and Climate Change Department has officially introduced a new emission testing fee structure for vehicles, starting November 10, 2025.
According to the department’s notification, the new fees will apply as follows:

Up to 1,000cc: Rs. 500

1,001cc to 1,500cc: Rs. 800

1,501cc to 2,500cc: Rs. 1,000
-
2,501cc to 4,500cc: Rs. 1,500
-
Above 4,500cc: Rs. 2,000
All payments must be made online through the e-Pay system, and motorists will receive a confirmation SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
Vehicle owners must also bring their CNIC when appearing for the emission test. The move aims to improve air quality and control vehicle pollution across Punjab.
