Punjab has introduced a new security feature that allows any citizen’s phone to work like a Safe City camera during emergencies.
Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Safe Punjab Vision, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has added a new option called “Connect to PSCA” inside the Safe City public safety app.
How the Feature Works

If someone calls 15 during an emergency, the Safe City officer will send a live-feed link to the caller.

When the caller opens the link, their mobile camera instantly goes live inside the Safe City control room.

Officials can then see the situation in real time and send help faster.
Important Notes for Citizens

The feature is only for genuine emergencies.

Location services must be kept enabled.

PSCA has advised people not to misuse the live video option or send unnecessary footage.
