Rajshahi Warriors have signed Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2026, finalizing the team’s overseas picks just a day before the auction.
The franchise had already secured top-order batter Sahibzada Farhan, meaning both international slots are now filled ahead of the draft.
Under BPL rules, every team can sign two local and two foreign players before the auction.
Nawaz joins the league with solid recent form and huge T20 experience, having played in PSL, BBL, CPL, LPL and multiple BPL teams before. For Pakistan, he has featured in 85 T20Is, scoring 839 runs and taking 83 wickets.
Rajshahi have also locked in their two Bangladeshi signings — Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Najmul Hossain Shanto, both expected to strengthen the top order.
The team’s coaching setup is also complete, with Hannan Sarkar as head coach and Rajin Saleh as senior assistant coach.
