The Sindh Government has approved a new policy giving five extra marks to candidates applying for Grade 5 to Grade 15 jobs.
According to the official notification from the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, applicants who score at least 50% in academics will receive the additional marks during recruitment.
Intermediate-pass candidates will also get the same benefit.
The policy is now mandatory for tests conducted by IBA Sukkur, which handles major government hiring exams in Sindh.
Officials say the new rule will help promote merit, reward strong academic results, and ensure consistent hiring criteria across all provincial departments.
