Sindh Makes Tenant Registration Easier With New Online System

Sindh Police have introduced a province-wide online tenant registration system, making it easier for landlords to submit tenant information as part of the department’s ongoing digitization efforts.

The new platform, titled “Tenant Registration for Urban Security and Tracking,” is now available on the official Sindh Police website. Through this system, property owners can register tenant details electronically without visiting a police station.

Under the Rent Act, landlords are legally required to share tenant information with local police authorities. Previously, this process involved in-person visits and paperwork. With the launch of the online portal, landlords can now fulfill this requirement from their homes, saving time and effort.

Officials said the system operates in line with relevant residential and security laws and helps law enforcement maintain accurate and verified tenant records across urban areas.

The digital process also reduces paperwork and administrative burden for police staff, allowing resources to be used more efficiently. Authorities believe the system will improve record management while strengthening urban security monitoring.

Sindh Police said the initiative is part of a broader push to modernize administrative procedures through digital tools and improve public service delivery.

Landlords and property owners have been advised to use the online platform to ensure compliance with tenant registration laws and avoid legal complications.
