The UAE has rejected social media claims suggesting that visas for Pakistanis have been suspended. The clarification came from UAE Consul General Bakhit Atiq Al-Rumaithi, who said the reports are completely false.
He stated that Pakistan and the UAE enjoy strong, long-term relations, and visas for Pakistanis are being issued without any interruption. He added that certain groups are spreading baseless rumors for negative purposes.
According to the Consul General, the largest visa center in Asia, located in Karachi, is fully operational and continues to serve Pakistani applicants daily. He explained that only a few types of visas require advance appointments, which is normal procedure.
He also reaffirmed that the UAE continues to support Pakistanis for medical travel, educational seminars, and other essential services, stressing that cooperation between both sides remains active.
