LESCO has updated its electricity tariff for 2025. Now, domestic consumers will pay as low as Rs. 12.21 per unit for the first 100 units. As consumption rises, the per-unit rate also jumps — up to Rs. 49.10 per unit for those using more than 700 units.
Here’s the full slab chart for quick reference:
-
1–100 units: Rs. 12.21
-
101–200 units: Rs. 14.53
-
201–300 units: Rs. 31.51
-
301–400 units: Rs. 38.41
-
401–500 units: Rs. 41.62
-
501–600 units: Rs. 43.04
-
601–700 units: Rs. 44.18
-
Above 700 units: Rs. 49.10
⚠️ Important: This is just the base rate. Final bills often include additional charges such as fuel-price adjustments, taxes, and surcharges — which can make your real tariff much higher. Always check your full bill carefully before paying.
Tip: If you keep your consumption under 200 units, you get the cheapest rates — so switch off unneeded lights and appliances, and save money!
