The Balochistan government has released the winter vacation schedule for schools in the province’s colder regions. According to the Education Department, government schools will remain closed for two and a half months, starting December 16, due to extreme winter conditions.
In Chaman, annual exams for junior classes are already in progress. Tests for students from classes 1 to 7 started on November 16 and will continue until November 24. Exams for class 8, held under the Balochistan Board, will also begin on November 24.
Meanwhile, Punjab has issued its winter break dates as well. Schools across the province will observe holidays from December 23, 2025, to January 11, 2026, with classes resuming on January 12.
Both provincial education departments have instructed school administrations to complete all exams and pre-vacation academic work on time.
