Xiaomi is set to officially unveil the Xiaomi 17 Ultra on December 25 in China, but ahead of the launch, the company has already revealed key design details through a short hands-on teaser video.
The teaser confirms that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be the slimmest Ultra smartphone Xiaomi has ever produced, measuring just 8.29mm in thickness. For comparison, last year’s Xiaomi 15 Ultra measured 9.4mm, making the new model noticeably thinner and more refined.
Slimmer Design With Narrow Bezels
Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature extremely narrow bezels on all sides, giving the phone a modern, edge-to-edge appearance. From the front, the device closely resembles the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, suggesting that both models may share the same display panel.
The overall build appears premium, maintaining Xiaomi’s Ultra-series identity while pushing toward a slimmer and lighter form factor.
Four Color Options Confirmed
According to official information, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be available in four color variants:

As expected, camera performance remains the central focus of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. While full camera specifications have not yet been disclosed, Xiaomi has already shared early camera samples, hinting at significant improvements in photography and imaging capabilities.
