Gold prices in Pakistan moved higher on Monday, tracking gains in the international market.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,600 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs. 443,762.
The price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs. 1,372, settling at Rs. 380,454.
This increase comes after a decline over the weekend, when gold dropped by Rs. 2,300 per tola on Saturday to close at Rs. 442,162.

In the global market, gold gained $16 to reach $4,214 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also moved upward in Pakistan, rising Rs. 30 to Rs. 6,102 per tola.

The US dollar slipped to a one-month low, making gold cheaper for overseas buyers and lifting sentiment ahead of the US Federal Reserve policy meeting, where investors expect a possible interest rate cut.
