Severe fog has drastically reduced visibility across several areas in Punjab, prompting the Motorway Police to temporarily close key highways for public safety.
According to the motorway authorities:

M-2 (Lahore to Kot Momin) is closed to all traffic

M-3 (Lahore to Samundri) is suspended due to dangerous fog

M-11 (Lahore to Sialkot) is also closed
Officials warned that the extremely low visibility increases the risk of accidents, urging travelers to avoid non-essential journeys and use alternative routes if travel is necessary.
The Motorway Police added that closures are temporary and the motorways will be reopened in phases once weather conditions improve and visibility is restored.
