Big Price Hike: Punjab T-Cash Card Now Costs Double

Web Desk: The cost of the Punjab Mass Transit System’s T-Cash Card — used for Metro Bus and Orange Line Train — has reportedly doubled, increasing the financial strain on daily commuters.

According to local media reports, the provincial transport department has added a delivery fee of Rs. 130 to the existing Rs. 130 card price, bringing the total cost to Rs. 260.

Passengers will now have to pay both the card fee and the delivery charges, making travel across Lahore and other cities more expensive.

The decision has drawn criticism from citizens who say the price hike will affect thousands of regular passengers relying on public transport for their daily commute.
