The Punjab School Education Department has prepared a proposal to start winter vacations from December 23, according to official sources.
A spokesperson confirmed that the summary will be sent to the Chief Minister of Punjab for approval.
This year, winter holidays are expected to continue until January 10, depending on final approval from the provincial leadership.
The school department plans to issue a formal notification once the proposal is cleared.
